This release makes Flowrite more reliable while recording, easier to set up, and smoother to download across supported platforms.

Recording starts faster. Flowrite is now more responsive when starting a recording.
Long dictations are more reliable. Flowrite better preserves your writing context during longer dictation sessions.
Onboarding is easier to complete. New microphone testing and language selection steps help you confirm setup before using Flowrite.
Built-in microphones are preferred. Flowrite now chooses the built-in microphone by default, making recording more predictable when headphones or external devices are connected.
The floating pill feels smoother. Recording animations and audio levels are more responsive and stable.
Downloads are easier to maintain. Mac and Windows download links now resolve to the latest published installer automatically.

Fixed: Shortcuts after permissions. Keyboard shortcuts now initialize more reliably after accessibility permissions are granted.
Fixed: Microphone changes while Flowrite is open. Choosing a different microphone now takes effect across the app without needing to restart.
Fixed: Microphone previews. The microphone level preview now matches the same device Flowrite will use for recording.
