Windows Beta and Faster Recording - Changelog | Flowrite

This release opens the Windows beta and makes recording feel faster and steadier across supported platforms.

Windows beta is now available. Windows visitors can download the 64-bit beta installer directly from the website.
Recording starts faster on Windows. Flowrite keeps the microphone ready so recording begins quickly and fewer first words are missed.
The floating pill feels more responsive. Start, stop, and processing feedback now appears right away with smoother animation.

Fixed: The floating pill could take focus. Clicking the pill to start or stop recording no longer pulls focus away from the app you were using.
Fixed: The main app could appear on every desktop. The main Flowrite window now behaves like a normal app window while the floating pill stays available where needed.
Fixed: Switching desktops could return you to Flowrite. Moving between desktops no longer pulls you back to the desktop with the main Flowrite window.
Fixed: The floating pill could be moved from its window edge. The pill no longer responds to native window resizing gestures.
Fixed: Floating menus could flicker or close too quickly. Context menus and toast windows are steadier when opening, closing, and interacting.
